Integrating Health Into Every Plan
The Health+Design Initiative (HDI) at the University of Colorado Denver College of Architecture and Planning is dedicated to evolving how health is considered in design and planning education, research, and practice.
Supported by a multi-year grant from the Colorado Health Foundation, HDI has produced practical tools, guidebooks, and research that help professionals, students, and community members build healthier places throughout Colorado and beyond.

A comprehensive evaluation framework organized around eight health categories. Designed to inform designers, planners, and decision-makers of health conditions prior to beginning a project, plan, or program.

A Statewide Network for Healthy Communities
The Colorado Healthy Places Collaborative (CHPC) is a network of nearly two dozen statewide and regional organizations committed to creating healthier communities across Colorado. The GuideBox to Healthy Places is available through CHPC partner organizations statewide.
